Having survived the film business as a Music Supervisor/ Editor for 20+ years, Scott was asked to compose music for the film, PAYBACK for Brian Helgeland (LA Confidential, Mystic River). This endeavor brought Scott and the HGM composing team together. Scott has worked on such notable films as: Michael Jackson's film -This Is It, The Wolfman, Tropic Thunder, I Love You, Beth Cooper, The Bucket List, Daredevil, Men In Black 2, Ghost Rider, I Think I Love My Wife, The Kingdom, Fat Albert, The American President, My Cousin Vinny, City Slickers, Misery, My Dog Skip and When Harry Met Sally… just to name a few.

Scott Bennett is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer who has toured with Brian Wilson, the legendary founder of the Beach Boys, for the last 9 years. Wilson calls Scott “The most talented musician I’ve ever met” and hand selected him to co-write, co-produce and mix his latest album for Capitol. As a performer, writer, producer, Scott has done countless national and international commercials for Bud, McDonalds, Subway, Pepsi, Vidal Sassoon, etc. He also performed keyboard and guitar for the Tony and Pulitzer award winning Rent.
